PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Chomsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chomsky walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Robinson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Robinson misses the shot to the body.

Chomsky feints and as Robinson raises his hands in defense, Chomsky changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Robinson wants to get back to his feet but Chomsky is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Robinson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Chomsky slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Robinson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chomsky is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chomsky postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Chomsky seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Chomsky gets control of Robinson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Chomsky will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chomsky is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Chomsky uses his free foot to push down on Robinson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Robinson.

Chomsky has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Robinson's face.

Arnold Robinson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Arnold Robinson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
