The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Black showed some decent athleticism there.
Black throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Black is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Safronov sees it coming and defends easily.
Black looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Safronov trying to control but Black postures up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Black is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Safronov is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
