The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zvonimir tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

scolar looks to land a combination but Zvonimir avoids it well.

Zvonimir is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. scolar knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Zvonimir swings around for an armbar but scolar sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Zvonimir's guard.

Zvonimir had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. scolar is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Zvonimir Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take scolar's back instead.
