The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parnasse fails to land the takedown.
Vinicius thinks about countering with a body kick.
Parnasse moves in looking to clinch but Vinicius pushes him off.

Parnasse moves into the clinch successfully.

Vinicius pulls Parnasse into guard.
Parnasse is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Vinicius wants to control the position but Parnasse says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Vinicius looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Parnasse is fending him off so far but Vinicius persists. Nope, Parnasse circles away and we're back to standing.
Parnasse goes for a double leg but Vinicius avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Vinicius continues to drive forward.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Parnasse in particular looking to stall.

Parnasse is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vinicius doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Parnasse.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Parnasse takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Parnasse throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Vinicius has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Parnasse is working away from the top position though.
Vinicius is looking for a sweep. Parnasse is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Vinicius has his hands clasped together around Parnasse's back. He's all about the action.

Vinicius lands a two punch combo.
Vinicius tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Parnasse manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Parnasse shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vinicius as he avoids it easily.
