Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rami Kivi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tor Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kivi's entrance music is Rammstein - Rammstein. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tor Svensson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kivi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Svensson to the mat! Svensson manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Svensson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kivi wants to control from the top but Svensson keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Svensson wants to get up but he can't break Kivi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Svensson lands a really nice looking cross but Kivi seems unphased.

Kivi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kivi showed some decent athleticism there.

Kivi sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Svensson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kivi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kivi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
