The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haack feints and then cracks Handle's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Handle down.
Haack finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Haack chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Handle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Haack connects with a body shot.
Handle thumps Haack with a low kick.
Handle has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight.
Haack scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Haack punishes Handle's body with a nice straight punch.
Handle shoots in for a takedown but Haack shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Haack looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Haack pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Haack tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Handle was well out of range. Poor timing from Haack.

We've been informed that Haack has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Handle is trying hard to land a takedown here. Haack sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Handle closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Haack to the mat! Haack manages to get full guard.

Haack connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Handle momentarily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Haack throws a right hand that Handle ducks under and follows up with a left that Handle also avoids with ease.
Haack is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

It looked like Handle was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Haack is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Handle closes the distance and clinches up with Haack, looking for a takedown. Handle pushes Haack against the cage but Haack circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A head kick from Haack lands but Handle takes it in his stride.

Haack throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fighters circling - Haack throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Handle feinted with a counter takedown.

Haack lands a big head kick that sends Handle tumbling to the mat! Haack takes a step backwards and waves Handle back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Handle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Handle takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

No joy there for Handle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Haack lands a brutal uppercut that launches Handle off his feet! Handle tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
