Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gracie tries for a takedown but Quid sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Quid on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gracie shoots in and drives through. Quid sprawls well.

Quid gets a takedown into half guard.
Quid thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Gracie to regain full guard.
Quid working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gracie's head.
Quid knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
Quid throws a big right hand that misses.
Quid wanted to stand there but Gracie had control of the position.
Quid pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now.

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Quid can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Quid in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Gracie wants to sweep but no luck.
Quid lands a couple of digs.
Gracie throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Quid from controlling successfully.
Gracie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Quid is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Gracie lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
Quid stopping the sweep attempt from Gracie.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Quid wants to sweep but no luck.
Gracie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Quid will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Quid is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Quid avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Gracie connects with a couple of short punches.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Quid closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Quid is breathing heavily.
Gracie is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Quid's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Quid trying to control from half guard but Gracie is working away.
Quid is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gracie is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Gracie is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Quid is tapping! Great win for Gracie!
