Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mena Oeia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice shoots for a double leg takedown but Oeia sprawls well. He's pushed Slice's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oeia moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Oeia keeps the fight on the outside.
Oeia looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Oeia.
Slice displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Oeia on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Jimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slice is not content to let Oeia control the position.
Slice tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Oeia wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Slice is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Oeia lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Oeia controlling the positon.

Oeia is looking for a rear naked choke here but Slice reverses the position brilliantly into Oeia's guard!

Slice swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Slice is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Slice had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Oeia is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Slice Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Oeia's back instead.

Well Oeia has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
