Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Clark!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Clark.

It looks like Forrest Vera has been cut.
Clark throws a good cross that connects.
Vera fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Vera misses with a head kick.
Clark circles away from the clinch attempt.

Vera clinches up with Clark and pushes him back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vera tries to stall but Clark uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Vera has clasped his hands together around Clark's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clark is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Vera is controlling him well.
Vera wants to control but Clark is keeping him busy.
Clark manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Vera looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Clark lands a jab to the nose.
Vera shoots in and drives through. Clark sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Forrest Vera. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vera is breathing heavily.
Vera tries to clinch up.
Clark with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Clark is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Clark cracks Vera with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Vera falls to his knees and Clark doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
