Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Angelo Diek (ranked 4792 p4p, 475 weight class) and Tim Kratenberg (ranked 6093 p4p, 541 weight class). Tim Kratenberg struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kratenberg misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Diek wants to get up but he can't break Kratenberg's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kratenberg looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Diek with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
