The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dam scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Carlos Church has been cut.
Church avoids a punch combination nicely.
Church tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Dam manages to circle out of the way.
Dam fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Dam closes the distance and clinches.
The referee is keeping an eye on Dam - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Dam displaying some good clinch control by pressing Church up against the cage.
Church could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Church is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dam to keep the fight standing.
A frustrated look appears on Church's face as he tries to break the clinch.
