PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Moore (ranked 2499 p4p, 287 weight class) and Hosep Grigorian (ranked 2217 p4p, 266 weight class). Moore comes to the cage accompanied by The SHOW Must Go On. Grigorian is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Helena- Misfits. Hosep Grigorian acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hosep Grigorian!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, John Mangel and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grigorian lands an overhand right.
Grigorian jabs Moore to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Joshua Moore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grigorian scores with a jab to the head.
Moore shoots and misses
and Grigorian counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Grigorian stalks Moore and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Moore's face. Moore staggers backwards, shaken.
Grigorian lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Moore shoots in looking for a takedown. Grigorian tries to sprawl out of it but Moore keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grigorian manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Moore tries for a takedown but Grigorian sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joshua Moore. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Grigorian throws a shot to the body.
Grigorian lands a right hook to the body.
Moore will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Moore is breathing heavily.
Grigorian is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Moore hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
