The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henrique throws a lazy head kick
and Swingewood counters with a series of strikes. Henrique will be more careful next time no doubt.

Swingewood wants to control the position but Henrique says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Swingewood is staying active underneath Henrique, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Henrique seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Swingewood does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Swingewood pushes Henrique off and gets back to his feet.

Swingewood wants to take the fight to the mat but Henrique manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Swingewood tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Henrique defends well and Swingewood ends up having to push Henrique into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Swingewood tries to close the distance and clinch up but Henrique swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Henrique stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Henrique wants it to stay on the feet.

Swingewood is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Swingewood is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Henrique couldn't care less - he's delighted!
