Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Earl Maxwell (ranked 8700 p4p, 647 weight class) and Bocky Ralboa (ranked 25379 p4p, 681 weight class). Ralboa has chosen No Easy Way Out as his entrance music. Earl Maxwell had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ralboa throws a series of punches but Maxwell moves out of range.
Ralboa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Maxwell counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Ralboa has Maxwell pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Maxwell manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Ralboa throws a low kick but Maxwell moves out of range easily.
Maxwell punishes Ralboa's body with a nice straight punch.
Ralboa tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Maxwell is able to avoid easily.
Maxwell lunges at Ralboa with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ralboa's hand.

and Maxwell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

No joy there for Ralboa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ralboa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Maxwell looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Maxwell is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Maxwell checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Ralboa gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ralboa dodges the punch combination from Maxwell.
Maxwell takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ralboa takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maxwell appears to be looking for a big counter.
Bocky Ralboa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Maxwell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ralboa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Maxwell somewhat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ralboa lands a nice short elbow.
Maxwell tries to roll over but Ralboa keeps him under control.

Maxwell has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ralboa should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Maxwell has tightened it up now! Ralboa should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
