The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight swings for the body but Diaz moves out of range.
Knight drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Diaz misses with the combination.
Knight misses with a left hand
and Diaz counters with a two punch combo.
Diaz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like Coracui Diaz has been cut.
Diaz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Knight has time to react.
Diaz defending well as Knight loads up on a big left hand.
An attempted straight right counter from Diaz misses the target.
Knight throws a jab when Diaz was well out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Knight. Those never looked like landing.
Diaz walks into a straight right hand from Knight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice defenses there by Diaz.
Hayley Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz scores with a jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Knight, as that shot connected.
Nice body punch from Knight.

Diaz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Diaz appears to be looking for a big counter.
Knight feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Diazs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Knight takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Knight digs a good body shot into Diaz's ribs.

Knight sends Diaz crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Knight is motioning to the referee to let Diaz up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Are you kidding me?! Knight ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Diaz clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
