Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Caul Uno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lord Lobo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Caul Uno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lord Lobo!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lobo avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Lobo clinches up with Uno and pushes him back against the cage.

Lobo jumps guard.
Lobo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Lobo controls Uno momentarily but Uno frees himself.
Uno forces his way into half guard.
Lobo is trying to maintain the position but Uno is very close to passing his half guard.

Uno is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Uno is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lobo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Uno.
Lobo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Uno is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lobo tries to get to full guard but Uno has control of the leg.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lobo trying to hold on to Uno's head to control him but Uno postures up.
Lobo tries to roll over but Uno keeps him under control.
Lobo is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Uno is looking for a kimura here.

Uno seems to be working for a kimura but Lobo defends the submission attempt.

Uno looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Uno is breathing heavily.

Lobo is looking to improve his position.

Uno is working for a kimura but Lobo is defending it quite comfortably.
Lobo keeps control of the position for the meantime.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Uno wants to work for an arm triangle but Lobo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lobo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Uno. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Uno is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lobo sees it coming and defends easily.

Uno is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lobo is looking for a sweep. Uno is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Uno is trying to work for a kimura but Lobo is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Caul Uno dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Uno shoots in but Lobo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lobo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Uno but Uno pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lobo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lobo connects with a knee to the head.
Uno tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lobo smiles and moves away.
Uno looks to clinch

and Lobo counters with a single leg into guard. Uno didn't expect that.

Uno working for a triangle but Lobo defends it easily.

Uno escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lobo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lobo trying to control the position from guard on top but Uno is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Lobo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Uno looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Uno is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Lobo rolls with it to try and escape but Uno cranks on the arm and Lobo is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Caul Uno!
