PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevon Dursnake (ranked 7124 p4p, 496 weight class) and Tucker Lee (ranked 3874 p4p, 341 weight class). Lee has chosen DMX - Party Up (Up In Here) as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tucker Lee!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dursnake fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Lee misses with a leg kick.

Lee clinches up against the cage.
Dursnake is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lee is defending well for now.
Lee has had enough of the clinch but Dursnake keeps him there for the moment.
Dursnake keeps control of Lee as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Dursnake has Lee pressed against the cage, preventing Lee from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Kevon Dursnake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tucker Lee.

Lee's coach down at Rabid Reindeer Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lee's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
