The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clough connects with a good right hand that stumbles Samsonov. Samsonov circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Clough swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Samsonov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Brian Clough has been cut.
Samsonov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Clough connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Samsonov scrambles back to his feet.
Clough fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Clough throws an overhand right that lands on Samsonov's shoulder, as Samsonov tries to avoid the shot.

Samsonov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Clough throws a series of punches but Samsonov avoids them all with ease.

Clough throws a lazy right hand but Samsonov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Samsonov fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Clough to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Clough looks to clinch but Samsonov throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Clough taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
