The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Jahn. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Wilks leaves Jahn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jahn jumps guard but Wilks turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jahn has Wilks pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wilks manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Wilks pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
BOOM! Wilks lands a beautiful left hook that drops Jahn. Jahn tries to recover but Wilks is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Jahn lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
