Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonathan Alspaugh!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alspaugh looking to score a takedown here. Mckinney is defending well but Alspaugh drives through and ends up in Mckinney's guard.

Mckinney uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Alspaugh feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mckinney utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Alspaugh avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Alspaugh throwing strikes from guard but Mckinney blocks nicely.
Alspaugh has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mckinney looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Alspaugh passes into side control.

Alspaugh is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mckinney has escaped the position, nice work there.
Alspaugh lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mckinney down.


Mckinney is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mckinney is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Alspaugh works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Oh Mckinney is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mckinney tries to improve position but can't.

Alspaugh cracks Mckinney with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Alspaugh immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Mckinney is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Alspaugh!
