The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zavyalov but Zavyalov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jackson tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Zavyalov throws a leg kick that misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Jackson misses the target.
Zavyalov works the jab nicely.
Zavyalov looks to throw the jab but Jackson is out of range.
Zavyalov keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jackson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Zavyalov - the referee stops the clock and Jackson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Zavyalov. Jackson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
We've been informed that Zavyalov has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

and Zavyalov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jackson tries a low kick but Zavyalov avoids it.

Vladimir Zavyalov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zavyalov tries to work over Jackson's front leg with a kick but Jackson checks it.

Zavyalov misses with an uppercut. Jackson saw that one coming.
Zavyalov lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Jackson falls backwards - clearly groggy! Zavyalov dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
