This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Chavez might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Rivera has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rivera has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Chavez is proving hard to escape from.

Chavez has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rivera is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Chavez.
