The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griswold fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Grendel scores with a nice head shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Grendel darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Grendel misses with a series of wild punches.
Grendel comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
No luck for Griswold with that takedown attempt.

It looks like Rusty Griswold has been cut.
Grendel stuffs the takedown attempt from Griswold. Griswold gets slowly back to his feet.

Griswold shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Grendel as he avoids it easily.
Grendel lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Griswold closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
No luck for Griswold with that takedown attempt.
The crowd cheers as Grendel lands an impressive looking overhand right. Griswold doesn't seem phased though.

Grendel connects with a superb combination that knocks Griswold out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Grendel before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Griswold!
