The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bogard is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but champion is surviving well by controlling Bogard's body position as best he can.
Bogard wants to control the pace but champion is squirming around nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
champion wants to control but Bogard is having none of it.

Bogard misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
champion tries to lock up and control but Bogard gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Bogard is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. champion can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
