TWGC 22 (170lbs, D2): Tokyo Qualifier - Round 1 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Edgy Brah (ranked 727 p4p, 21 weight class) and Leo Castellano (ranked 3390 p4p, 0 weight class). Brah comes to the cage accompanied by Dropped by Smoke Serpent. Castellano comes into a darkened arena with his song building. TESTIFY kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Edgy Brah has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Edgy Brah seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Brah closes the distance and clinches.

Brah is working to tighten his grip on Castellano's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Castellano has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Brah is really squeezing tight and eventually Castellano passes out! Brah breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
