Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between matheus mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Churchill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Churchill comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Entrance of Mad Jack kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Churchill lands a two punch combo.

That was a close round but I would say that matheus mendes will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Churchill looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? mendes is fending him off so far but Churchill persists. Nope, mendes circles away and we're back to standing.

Churchill thuds his right hand into mendes's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Churchill grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Churchill swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
mendes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Churchill moves away.
Jack Churchill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Churchill lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Churchill feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
