Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between TJ Guillard (ranked 4654 p4p, 455 weight class) and Carlos Pavon (ranked 23167 p4p, 682 weight class). Guillard comes to the cage accompanied by Duran Duran-White Lines. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, TJ Guillard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Carlos Pavon!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavon gets tackled into the cage by Guillard. Guillard maintains the clinch.
A short left from Pavon.
Pavon prevents the takedown attempt.
Guillard has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pavon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Guillard tries to pull guard but Pavon won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TJ Guillard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pavon stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pavon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Pavon scores with a hook to the body.
Pavon working some nice short punches in the clinch.
A body shot lands from Pavon.
Guillard takes a shot to the head.
Guillard tries to pull guard but Pavon holds him up against the cage and eventually Guillard drops back down to his feet.
A nice left hand lands by Pavon.
A nice right hand lands inside from Pavon.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pavon swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Pavon working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Pavon tries to throw a body punch but Guillard avoids it by throwing Pavon back against the cage.
Pavon lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Guillard is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pavon lands a hook to the side of the head.
Oh Guillard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Guillard has been working on his balance at Official UFC Performance Institute Training Center, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Pavon.
Pavon creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Guillard with a big uppercut! Guillard tries to clinch up but Pavon pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Guillard to the mat! Guillard covers up and Pavon unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Carlos Pavon!
TJ Guillard spoke after the fight, saying 'I want a rematch next week. I ain't no punk...'.
