PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seiya Watanabe (ranked 3694 p4p, 315 weight class) and Yun Gyu Yeob (ranked 7970 p4p, 0 weight class). Yun Gyu Yeob told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Seiya Watanabe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yun Gyu Yeob!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe shoots in but Gyu Yeob avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Watanabe fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gyu Yeob to the ground. Watanabe is now in Gyu Yeob's guard.
Watanabe wants to control from the top but Gyu Yeob keeps moving.
Gyu Yeob really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Watanabe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well Gyu Yeob has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
