Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Just Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Small Fry KayO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Just Case!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Small Fry KayO!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Case moves out of range as KayO strikes.

Case decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Case wants to lay and pray for a moment but KayO keeps working.
KayO punching from the bottom.

Case seems to be working for a kimura but KayO defends the submission attempt.
Case stops KayO from getting back to his feet.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Case connects with a nice short shot to KayO's temple.
Case is keen to just control but KayO is a slippery customer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Case ducks down and throws a hook to the body but KayO moves away.
KayO fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Case manages to avoid it.
Case circles away from the clinch attempt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
KayO tries to land a knee to the head but Case blocks with his arms.

Case goes for a takedown attempt but KayO pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Small Fry KayO seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
KayO tries to clinch but Case is having none of it.
Case closes the distance and clinches up with KayO, looking for a takedown. Case pushes KayO against the cage but KayO circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Small Fry KayO is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
KayO swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Case.
KayO doesn't manage to clinch there - Case circles away.
KayO throws a sloppy head kick and Case moves out of range easily.
Case tries to work over KayO's front leg with a kick but KayO checks it.
Case thows a body shot but no joy.

Case shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
KayO is trying to stand back up but Case is controlling him

KayO kicks Case off and gets back to his feet.
KayO looks gassed!
Case shoots for a double leg takedown but KayO sprawls well. He's pushed Case's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Just Case. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick misses from KayO.
Case takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
KayO throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Case.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Case content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Case throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Case is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. KayO is defending well though. Case let's go of the attempt for now.

Case looking to break KayO's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. KayO remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Case will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Case has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

KayO is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Just Case will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Case drops back looking for a leg! KayO is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and KayO manages to kick Case off! Case jumps back into KayO's guard.
Case throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as KayO works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Case feints and as KayO raises his hands in defense, Case changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Case wants to control from the top but KayO keeps moving.

KayO is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Case is controlling him.

Just Case dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

and Case counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Case throws a hook to the side of KayO's head but KayO sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Just Case is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Case counters with a nice double leg into side control. KayO won't be happy with that.

KayO sneaks out the side door and pushes Case away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Case.

KayO is wriggling around trying to escape but Case has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! KayO taps out and Case picks up the big win! Great work there by Case!
