Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Hyabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Courageous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kevin Courageous was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyabusa misses with a two punch combination.
Courageous avoids a punch combination nicely.

Courageous closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hyabusa is looking to escape.
Courageous wants to control but Hyabusa is keeping him busy.
Hyabusa won't allow Courageous to pass to mount.
Hyabusa is trying to stand back up but Courageous is controlling him
Courageous wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hyabusa keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hyabusa has one foot on Courageous's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Courageous misses with a wild body shot.
Courageous throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Courageous wants to clinch.

Courageous darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Hyabusa misses with a double jab.
Courageous drops his hands momentarily and Hyabusa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Kevin Courageous has been cut.

Hyabusa throws a jab but it's blocked by Courageous.
Ryu Hyabusa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hyabusa throws a hook to the side of Courageous's head but Courageous sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hyabusa scores with a jab.
Courageous throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hyabusa's waist but Hyabusa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Courageous off to one side.

Courageous tries to clinch up.
Hyabusa fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

That has opened up Kevin Courageous's cut even more.
Hyabusa drops his shoulder and cracks Courageous with a huge uppercut! Courageous goes down! Can Hyabusa finish him?

Hyabusa stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Courageous is still on wobbly legs! Can Hyabusa finish him?
Hyabusa lands with a right and another and another! Courageous is in big trouble! Hyabusa lands again and this time it's lights out for Courageous! A quality knockout there for Hyabusa.
