The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Bruno Hogan and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kinney.

Da Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Da Silva throws a hook to the side of Kinney's head but Kinney sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Da Silva is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kinney is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Da Silva to the mat. Da Silva regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Da Silva has momentary wrist control but Kinney slips an elbow through the middle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Da Silva shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kinney is trying to defend but Da Silva finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well Da Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
