Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edwin Marquez (ranked 5079 p4p, 486 weight class) and Hans Hizer (ranked 5675 p4p, 519 weight class). Hizer has chosen Papa as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hizer tries to land a body kick
and Marquez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Hans Hizer has been cut.
Hizer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marquez.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Marquez lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hizer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hizer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hizer is looking to work some ground and pound but Marquez has wrist control.
Marquez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hizer tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Marquez defends well and Hizer ends up having to push Marquez into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

It looks like Marquez has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Marquez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hizer circles away quickly and effectively.
