Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy fails with the takedown
enabling Bradain to counter with a crisp jab.
Shane Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bradain enables Murphy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bradain manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Bradain manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Bradain lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Murphy keeps control of Bradain as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Murphy looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Murphy has the Thai plumb, controlling the head nicely. He loads up with a big knee to the head and Bradain goes down! Murphy pounces into side control - this one could be over soon!

It looks like Andoni Bradain has been cut.
Bradain is not content to let Murphy control the position.
Bradain avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Murphy.
Bradain has one of Murphy's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Bradain has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Bradain parries the strikes from Murphy easily there. Murphy is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bradain to escape.
Murphy in side control lands a decent elbow.
Bradain is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Murphy misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Murphy tries to score with some ground and pound. Bradain controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Murphy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The strikes coming from Bradain are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Murphy tries to escape but Bradain is in control.
Murphy is trying to control Bradain's posture but Bradain avoids it.
Bradain has control of an arm but Murphy manages to advance to Bradain's back!
