The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Gonzalez with that takedown attempt.
Gonzalez shoots for a takedown but Ailo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ailo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Gonzalez shoots for a double leg takedown but Ailo sprawls well. He's pushed Gonzalez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gonzalez feints and as Ailo raises his hands in defense, Gonzalez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gonzalez gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Gonzalez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gonzalez swats away the attempt to clinch by Ailo.
Gonzalez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ailo closes the distance and clinches.
Ailo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gonzalez is trying to break the clinch but Ailo has him pressed against the cage.

Gonzalez has his foot on Ailo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ailo works his way back into a safe position though.

Ailo is posturing up here but Gonzalez has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ailo tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ailo has to tap! Slick submission there by Gonzalez!
