The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Mccullough gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Mccullough on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Pereira wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mccullough tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pereira smiles and moves away.

Mccullough clinches up against the cage.
Mccullough fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mccullough is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Renato Mccullough. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mccullough has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pereira is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Pereira pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mccullough has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pereira to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mccullough is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pereira pulls down on the head and he's put Mccullough to sleep! This one is all over!
