Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between El Misterioso Damballah (ranked 994 p4p, 128 weight class) and Kyle Sackrider (ranked 1134 p4p, 146 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, El Misterioso Damballah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Sackrider!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sackrider ducks under a wild hook from Damballah.
Sackrider appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Sackrider avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Damballah moves into range and clinches up with Sackrider.
We've been informed that Sackrider has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Damballah blocking some punches.
Sackrider lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Sackrider lands a hook that snaps the head of Damballah backwards.
Damballah is trying to pull guard but Sackrider turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Sackrider pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sackrider scores with the left hand. Damballah knows he should have avoided that one.
Sackrider lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Damballah cracks Sackrider with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Damballah closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sackrider counters with a low kick, right behind Damballah 's knee.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Damballah takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Damballah throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sackrider was covering up waiting for the punch and Damballah finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sackrider manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Sackrider moves away from the strike by Damballah.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sackrider uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sackrider lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Sackrider lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Damballah just misses with a punch to the body.
Sackrider scores with a nice right hand.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sackrider, as that shot connected.
Damballah is rocked!
Sackrider scores with a body shot.
Oh Damballah is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Damballah shoots in but no luck this time.
Damballah seems to have got his legs back now.
Damballah takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sackrider drops Damballah with a straight right hand, right on the button! Sackrider follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Sackrider!
After winning the bout, Kyle Sackrider thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
