The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fantana tries for a takedown but Morrowind circles away easily
and Morrowind counters with a straight right hand.
Fantana fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Morrowind manages to avoid it.
Morrowind misses with a wild body shot.
Morrowind cracks Fantana with an open hand slap.
Morrowind throws a body punch but Fantana moves out of range.
Some wild striking there from Fantana.
Fantana gets a double leg takedown into Morrowind's guard.
Fantana being controlled here momentarily.
Fantana is stalling in the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morrowind scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Morrowind swings for the body but Fantana moves out of range.
Fantana misses with a double jab.
Morrowind ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fantana moves away.
Morrowind scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Morrowind really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fantana misses with a looping left.
Jab, jab by Morrowind - just one landing.
Fantana lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Morrowind walks into a left hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fantana uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Morrowind.

and Morrowind counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Fantana throws a shot from downtown. Morrowind moves away and avoids it.
Morrowind fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Fantana on the side of the head.
Fantana lands with a hook. Morrowind tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Fantana cracks Morrowind with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Morrowind looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Morrowind looks to land a left hand but Fantana moved out of range nicely.
Fantana tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Morrowind manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Morrowind slaps away a takedown attempt from Fantana, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Iko Morrowind has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Fantana.
Left hook, right uppercut from Morrowind.
Fantana connects with a body shot that sends Morrowind's belly button to the back.
Morrowind throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fantana.
Fantana drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Morrowind defends it well.

Morrowind lands with a nice combination. Fantana backs away looking to recover.
Morrowind lands with a good body shot.

Morrowind stuffs the takedown.
Morrowind takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Fantana gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Morrowind escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Morrowind will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fantana with the counter takedown but Morrowind avoids it easily.

Morrowind takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Fantana throws a shot to the body.
A nice combination there by Morrowind.

Morrowind is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Morrowind knocks Fantana out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

A relieved looking Iko Morrowind thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
