These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alviso ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Rojas moves out of range of the strikes.
Rojas dips to his left and cracks Alviso with an uppercut!
Matheo Rojas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Alviso. Those never looked like landing.
A countering left hand to the body from Rojas misses.
Alviso defending well as Rojas loads up on a big left hand.
Alviso fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rojas avoids it really well and circles away.
We've been hearing reports that Alviso has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Rojas feints a jab and as Alviso dips his head, Rojas unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Alviso right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Alviso falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Rojas smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
