The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomspon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Carney.
Carney shoots for a takedown but Thomspon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Carney counters with a left and a right that stings Thomspon.
Carney takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Carney ducks under a wild hook from Thomspon.
Thomspon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Thomspon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Carney, pushing him back against the cage.

Thomspon creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Carney's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Carney drops to his knees and Thomspon pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
