The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Reed avoids it really well and circles away.
Reed scores with a one two! Bailey had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

We've been hearing reports that Reed has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Reed throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bailey stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Reed feints a jab promting Bailey to slip. Reed then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bailey slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Bailey tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Reed defends well and Bailey ends up having to push Reed into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Reed throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Reed lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
