Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Sunchez (ranked 1499 p4p, 190 weight class) and Jose Diaz (ranked 1116 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alex Sunchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Jose Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Sunchez drives through with a takedown into Diaz's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Sunchez stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Diaz has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Sunchez manages to get his head free but now Diaz has transitioned to an armbar! Sunchez grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Diaz! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

A relieved looking Jose Diaz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Alex Sunchez stepped up to the mic, saying 'I knew that winning this fight will be hard. And loosing this fight is not end of my career, i promise to be back in future fights better. I apologise to all my fans but next time i wont let you guys down. I need a rematch......'.
