The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Contreras closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hernandez 's guard.

Hernandez looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hernandez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hernandez controls Contreras momentarily but Contreras frees himself.
Contreras might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Contreras stops Hernandez from standing up.
Contreras is fighting to break Hernandez 's control of his arms but Hernandez is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Hernandez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Contreras's guard.

Contreras trying to keep a closed guard but Hernandez is proving a slippery customer.

Contreras has left one of his arms exposed and Hernandez doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Contreras screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
