Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Gable (ranked 6225 p4p, 512 weight class) and Jonathan Denker (ranked 24454 p4p, 651 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gable might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Born in the U.S.A.. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gable moves into range and connects with a jab.
Gable scores with a jab.

Gable misses with a wild body shot.

Gable chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Denker takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

No joy there for Denker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Denker takes a jab right on the kisser.

Gable works the jab nicely.
Denker is still on wobbly legs! Can Gable finish him?
Denker gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Gable gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Denker is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Gable!
A very excited looking Dan Gable made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
