Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Hushing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rigor Mortis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hushing comes to the cage accompanied by PAUL VAN DYK "For An Angel" . Rigor Mortis will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mortis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A telegraphed right hand from Hushing misses the target.

Mortis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Hushing is wriggling around trying to escape.
A nice elbow there by Mortis.
Mortis scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hushing really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The referee warns Hushing that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hushing might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Mortis with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Hushing tries to hold on but Mortis postures up.
Mortis tries to control but Hushing wriggling away.

Mortis moves to take his opponent's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mortis is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hushing defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Mortis keeps control of the position as Hushing tries to break free.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mortis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mortis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hushing tries to avoid it but Mortis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hushing to the ground. Hushing escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mortis shoots for a takedown but Hushing saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hushing looks to land a combination. Mortis sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Mortis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hushing but Hushing pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Matt Hushing has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rigor Mortis.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Mortis shoots for a takedown but Hushing saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hushing throws a hook but Mortis avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Mortis or perhaps it was just good defense by Hushing which made him look bad.
Rigor Mortis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mortis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hushing jabbing away but nothing is landing.
No joy there for Hushing, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mortis closes the distance and clinches up with Hushing, looking for a takedown. Mortis pushes Hushing against the cage but Hushing circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hushing looks to land a right hand but Mortis moved out of range.
Mortis with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hushing to score with a decent uppercut.
Mortis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hushing but Hushing pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mortis is breathing heavily.
Hushing lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mortis backs up against the cage.

Hushing bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mortis's head backwards.
A swing and a miss from Hushing.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hushing, as that shot connected.

Mortis is rocked!
Hushing is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Hushing connects with a stiff jab that staggers Mortis - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
