Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hanzel Spetz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Swizz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swizz has chosen Make It Go as his entrance music. Hanzel Spetz has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spetz shoots in for a double leg but Swizz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
No luck for Spetz with that takedown attempt.

Spetz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Swizz sprawls well initially but Spetz persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Swizz has one foot on Spetz's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Swizz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Spetz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Spetz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Spetz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Spetz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Spetz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Spetz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Swizz counters with a shoot takedown. Spetz fights it but they end up in guard.

Spetz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Spetz isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Swizz stacks Spetz on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Swizz!
Swizz cracks Spetz with a big right hand but Spetz just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Spetz gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Swizz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Spetz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Swizz.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Swizz stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Swizz gets caught flat footed, as Spetz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Spetz with a flurry of punches that miss.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Swizz has his foot on Spetz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Spetz works his way back into a safe position though.
Spetz is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Swizz throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Spetz escapes and throws Swizz's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Spetz is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Swizz. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Jay Swizz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

I think Swizz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
