Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Cole Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dedrick Foster!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moore is fending him off so far but Foster persists. Nope, Moore circles away and we're back to standing.

Foster rushes Moore and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Foster tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Foster is trying to pull guard but Moore turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Cole Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dedrick Foster.
Moore lands with a light punch inside.
Foster tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Moore smiles and moves away.
Foster tries for a takedown but Moore circles away easily
and Moore counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dedrick Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moore tries to avoid it but Foster manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moore to the ground. Moore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Moore gets a clinch.

Moore content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Moore taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Moore for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Moore has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Foster uses from the top position.
Foster wants to control from the top but Moore keeps moving.
Moore wants to get back to his feet but Foster is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Foster throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Moore works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Moore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Moore is looking for a triangle here but Foster uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Moore tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Foster throws some wild stikes that Moore manages to avoid easily.
Foster looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Foster connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Moore really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Foster is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Moore to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Moore shrugs it off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Foster trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Moore is trying to stand but he's just given Foster his back.

Foster has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Moore! Can he survive? No! He's out! Foster gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dedrick Foster!
