Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric North (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bad Boy Bernie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eric North had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Eric North looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric North!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bad Boy Bernie!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
North shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bernie as he jumps to the side.
North fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bernie sprawls well initially but North persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Bernie tries to get to full guard but North has control of the leg.
North is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bernie is looking to control North's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bernie avoid being mounted?
Bernie is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but North is staying active.
Bernie looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Bernie looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bernie looking for submissions off his back.
North is breathing heavily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bernie closes the distance and clinches up with North, looking for a takedown. Bernie pushes North against the cage but North circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bernie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in North's guard.
Bernie tries to free his leg and advance position but North is retaining full guard.
Bernie slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
North is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bernie stands and throws North's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Bernie wants to lay and pray for a moment but North keeps working.
North is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Bernie staying calm.
Bernie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
North might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bernie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
North is looking for a sweep.
Bernie trying to control the action but North is working from the bottom.
Bernie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bernie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bernie has hold of North's arm. He's looking for a kimura. North seems comfortable defending it but Bernie has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! North is real pain and he's forced to tap out! North is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bernie couldn't care less - he's delighted!
