Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy Warren!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hugo Hugman!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hugman tries for a takedown but Warren sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Warren moves into the clinch.
Hugman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Warren pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Warren has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hugman regains guard immediately.
Hugman is trying to keep Warren in close.
Hugman looking for a sweep. Not yet Hugman, not yet.

Hugman looking for a guillotine here but Warren defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hugman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Warren's guard.

Hugman wants to control from the top but Warren keeps moving.
Hugman advances position into side control!
Hugman laying and praying for a moment but Warren takes advantage and regains half guard.
Warren might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hugman wants to pass to mount but Warren is defending the position.

Hugman is trying to work for a kimura but Warren is defending well.
Hugman is trying to control. Warren wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Warren looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Hugman is looking for a kimura here.
Warren looks like he's trying to stand up.

Warren looking for submissions off his back.

Hugman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Warren doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hugman.

Hugman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Warren does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Warren is positioning himself well to prevent Hugman advancing to mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hugman is trying for a kimura here. Warren looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Hugman wins by kimura!
