Mouwanga comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Welcome to the Jungle kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trotter tries to close the distance and clinch but Mouwanga swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Trotter closes the distance but Mouwanga moves to the side
enabling Mouwanga to counter with a crisp jab.
Mouwanga throws a sloppy head kick and Trotter moves out of range easily.
Mouwanga misses with a hook.
Mouwanga misses with an uppercut.
Mouwanga showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Trotter.
Trotter thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mouwanga fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Trotter manages to avoid it.
A combination from Trotter does no damage.
Mouwanga tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mouwanga rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Trotter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Trotter gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mouwanga.
Trotter misses the jab.
Mouwanga misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Trotter fails with an attempt to clinch.

Mouwanga tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've been informed that Mouwanga has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Trotter gets the takedown into side control.
Trotter looking to control but instead Mouwanga has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Trotter not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Trotter wants to take a breather but Mouwanga is having none of it.
Trotter is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mouwanga is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
