Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kay Bone (ranked 3406 p4p, 308 weight class) and Demi Calhassan (ranked 3772 p4p, 335 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kay Bone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Demi Calhassan!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calhassan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bone definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Calhassan moves to clinch but Bone breaks away
and Bone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bone circles away from the clinch attempt
and Bone counters with a straight right hand.
Calhassan misses with a shot to the body
letting Bone counter with a right hand.
Calhassan throws an off balance right hand
and Bone makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Calhassan tries to close the distance and clinch but Bone swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Calhassan moves to clinch but Bone breaks away
and Bone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bone swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Calhassan.
Calhassan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bone's corner calls for a 1-2. Bone obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Calhassan darts in trying to clinch
and Bone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Calhassan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bone counters with a nice uppercut.
Calhassan wants to clinch but Bone slips to the side
and Calhassan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Calhassan closes the distance but Bone moves to the side
and Bone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Bone has Calhassan up against the cage in a clinch.
Calhassan wants to break free but Bone has control.
Calhassan wants to break free but Bone has control.
Bone prevents Calhassan from breaking the clinch.
Calhassan takes a shot to the head.
Bone digs a right hand underneath Calhassan's ribcage. Calhassan let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Bone lands a left hand.
A shot in the inside from Bone.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Calhassan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Bone.


Calhassan is rocked!
Bone misses with a hook from the clinch.
Bone is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bone creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Calhassan is still on wobbly legs! Can Bone finish him?
Calhassan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Calhassan seems to have recovered his senses.
A short right from Bone.
Bone lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Calhassan.
A shot in the inside from Bone.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Calhassan wants to break the clinch but can't.
Calhassan is trying to stall.
Bone lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bone lands a big right hand that drops Calhassan! The killer instinct kicks in and Bone finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Bone!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kay Bone!
